Ein Ort chinesischer Gastfreundschaft. Mitten In Frankfurt am Main, der internationalsten Stadt Kontinentaleuropas. Hier, wo seit je her Menschen aus aller Welt sich trafen, Handel betrieben, Nachrichten, Waren und Kultur austauschten. Das war die Vision von Guoxiu Yang. Er ist zu dem Zeitpunkt erfolgreicher Unternehmen in China. Die Chance, einen wunderschönen asiatischen Park an der Rennbahn als Umfeld für sein großes Bankett-Hotel zu bekommen, motivierte ihn. Und er legte los. Mit Liebe zum Detail. Nein, das falsche Rot. Die Fassadenteile im Pagodenstil sollten den idealen Farbton tragen, der in China übrigens für Glück steht.
A place of Chinese hospitality. In the heart of Frankfurt am Main, the most international city in continental Europe. Here, where people from all over the world have always met, traded, exchanged news, goods and culture. That was the vision of Guoxiu Yang. At the time, he was a successful businessman in China. The opportunity to acquire a beautiful Asian park next to the racecourse as the setting for his grand banquet hotel motivated him. And he got started. With attention to detail. No, that’s the wrong red. The pagoda-style façade elements should have the ideal colour, which, incidentally, symbolises good fortune in China.
Dann änderten sich die Pläne der Stadt. Aus der Rennbahn ist ein Fußball-Campus geworden, mit eigenem Hotel. Neues Konzept, neuer Schwung, geänderte Pläne. Eines blieb immer gleich: der unermesslich hohe Standard bis in die Details.
Then the city’s plans changed. The racecourse became a football campus with its own hotel. New concept, new momentum, changed plans. One thing remained the same: the immeasurably high standard down to the last detail.

Xiaoyu Yang hat hier wichtige Jahre ihres Lebens verbracht. Ihr Vater hatte sie mit der Bauleitung beauftragt. Auch nach seinem tragischen Tod 2020 sind für sie die aufwendigen Parkettböden, die asiatischen Verzierungen am Balkon oder der glitzernde Fußboden sein Vermächtnis. Der monumentale gastfreundschaftliche Gruß von Peking nach Frankfurt.
Aufgeben? Nun, nach solch einem Schicksalsschlag hätte es der Tochter wohl niemand verdenken können. Aber sie sich selbst nicht. Jetzt verhandelt sie mit möglichen Investoren, die ihr auf dem letzten Schritt zur Fertigstellung und dem Pre-Opening beispringen und mit internationalen Hotelketten, die das Objekt als besonderes Juwel in ihre Luxus-Kollektionen aufnehmen könnten.
Xiaoyu Yang spent important years of her life here. Her father entrusted her with the construction management. Even after his tragic death in 2020, the elaborate parquet floors, the Asian decorations on the balcony and the glittering floor remain his legacy for her. The monumental, hospitable greeting from Beijing to Frankfurt.
Give up? Well, after such a blow of fate, no one could have blamed the daughter. But she couldn’t blame herself. Now she is negotiating with potential investors who will help her with the final steps towards completion and the pre-opening, and with international hotel chains that could include the property as a special jewel in their luxury collections.

Das Hotel ist nahezu fertig. Die wunderschönen Suiten sehen aus, als könnten sie morgen bezogen werden. Leider sind Räume im Präsidenten-Trakt noch nicht ausgestattet.
The hotel is almost finished. The beautiful suites look as if they could be ready to move into tomorrow. Unfortunately the rooms of the presidents wing are not yet fittet.

Und vielleicht sogar Karaoke. Die Räume sind Fertig, dieInstallationen ebenfalls. Hier fehlen noch die Massageliegen, kuschelige Handtücher, Wasser in den Becken und natürlich die Menschen.

And maybe even karaoke. The rooms are ready, as are the installations. All that’s missing now are some last steps, the massage tables, cosy towels, water in the pools and, of course, the people.
Es geht mir längst nicht mehr nur um meinen verstorbenen Vater. Auch mein Herz hängt daran, dieses Hotel zu einem außergewöhnlichen Ort für Gäste zu machen.
It is no longer just about my late father. I am also committed to making this hotel an exceptional place for guests.
